  • 1 1/2 Ground Beef 80/20 or 93/7
  • 16oz Box Tie Pasta
  • 3 Cups Marinara Sauce
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth May have to add additional to Cover Pasta
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic Minced
  • 1 Small Onion Chopped
  • 1 TBSP Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1-2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese to top
  • Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Over a Medium High Heat Brown ground beef and add onions.  The grease from the meat will assist the onions in rendering.  This step will take 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess grease and leave just enough to coat the pan
  3. Add Garlic and cook until it becomes fragrant. At this time add your seasonings
  4. Add Marinara Sauce, Beef Broth, and Heavy Whipping Cream. Mix ingredients.
  5. Add pasta and mix.  Make sure pasta is submerged.  If more beef broth is needed add at this time.
  6. Place Lid on and allow to simmer occasionally stir. 10-12mins 
  7. Once Pasta has cooked Al Dente
  8. Taste and Salt to Pepper to Taste
  9. Finish off with Mozzarella Cheese and replace top to allow cheese to melt
  10. Optional add parsley and Parmesan Cheese
